How to Convert Crypto in Mercuryo
First, you need to set the transaction fields:
- choose the fiat currency that you want to convert (USD, EUR, etc.);
- enter the amount;
- choose the cryptocurrency you want to buy (BTC, ETH, BUSD, etc.);
- point the blockchain address to receive the blockchain asset (it can be pre-filled automatically);
- agree with the Terms of Service and click Buy.
The form will show:
- the final amount of crypto to be deposited;
- the fiat amount to be charged by Mercuryo;
- the handling fee charged by Mercuryo.
Note that you need to pass the verification if you deposit more than 700 EUR.
Passing the KYC
The verification starts if you transfer more than 700 EUR. After completing the form, please type your email address or phone number. Mercuryo sends a verification code on that email (or SMS), which you enter into the transaction form. If you need another code, you can resend the new one in 20 seconds.Â
The next step will be passing the KYC and filling in the card info. The system will provide you with all the necessary tips for selecting a country, sending an ID, etc.
Mercuryo sends 5 digit M-***** code to your bank. Then, your bank should deliver the code to you via SMS, push notification, or invoice in the bank app. Once received, you need to input it in the form.Â
As soon as Mercuryo sends crypto, the transaction is completed! You’ll receive an email with all the details of the transaction.
